Can the front panel be replaced and changed back to stock? what do you think? I have see many do much more than this one panel replace on rust repair. Would I ever change it back? Well now, it is a 77 that was converted with glass flares and fenders/ nose painted dark cherry metalic with rs door panels and modified stock seats running a 450hp/425lbsft with a turbo 4 speed.
It really would not be worth much as an average condition stock 77 with a 2.7 and a 915
I would not have modified a clean 77 that was perfect but it was not.
The thing is well done conversions cost money and people that think they will get away without spending some will fail.
For example I don't see anyone bashing "Doozers" car and Todd is clearly having fun with it but that car does not represent the average builder because he has some real money in it. I really want to see it when it is done it will be nice.
It is just a car ......have fun with it do what you want with yours I just try not to take any of it to seriously. If anyone is considering a conversion you can contact me. I am not saying convert your car but I could let you know the details.
