With Teeth

I thought I'd start a thread about the new NIN album, as it seems that there are a few fans (based on the 'Groups I Don't Get' thread.

Anyway, I have a few favorite songs on the album, and some I'm not so fond of. I find myself skipping to my favorites, where as I tend to let other albums like 'The Downward Spiral' and 'Pretty Hate Machine' play all the way through.

One thing that particularly intriques me is the sound engineering on 'Right Were It Belongs' (the last song on the album). Here's my take:

The beginning of the song, based on the background noise, is sung in a limo on the way to a concert. The sound is muffled and you can clearly hear car noise in the background.

The middle section of the song is sung in the bowels of some concert venue. The sound is dry and you can occasionally hear some muffled concert noise.

The end of the song is obviously in front of a crowd. The sound opens up (as if it is amplified). You can also clearly hear the crowd noise.
