Tomorrow, June 1st, Pelicans in the Southern states — Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas — will be able to take advantage of recent legislation which allows each of us to get, on an annual basis, a report from all three major credit reporting companies free of charge.. I encourage all forum members to take advantage of this important legislation.
Pelicans in the Eastern states — Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, and West Virginia — the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and all U.S. territories can order their free reports beginning September 1, 2005.
Western and midwestern Pelicans can already avail themselves of this opportunity.
Please understand you may get all three reports at once, or you may stagger your report requests throughout the year........
