When you've seen how the whole corporation works from the inside (I have many friends and relatives who work(ed) at GM on the floor, in engineering, and in management) and you see how the union philosophy permeates everything from manufacturing inefficiency, to poor product testing, to enormous healthcare and pension obligations, you come to understand how the UAW really is at fault.

They are in the process of strangling the hand that feeds them.
