I think about what can happen every time I wake up on a track morning. Its one reason I'm really glad that the organizations I run with care a lot about safety. There is a reason that you have a driver's meeting in the morning, and there is a reason that you should LISTEN. There is a reason that there are corner workers and rules for entering and leaving the track.
And the reason isn't about you. Its about the ones you leave behind.
Next time you're at a driver's meeting, pay a little more attention, and if you see something that doesn't look right, tell someone. Accidents happen, but most of them don't need to.
