I like 'em smart. Smart ones are often sucessful. But not always. It is a double-edged sword though. To be sucessful, women often have to adopt a persona that doesn't really fly well in a relationship. And if they are not driven and/or sucessful, there is an inequity (with the smart ones) that causes a defensive posture and leads to self-fufilling prophecies of "I'm not good enough for you."
Insane? Yes. Indespensible? Probably. Oh well...
