Revenge of the Sith? Too much for a 7 year old? Let the Pelican OT Board decide!

Wife says yes, I say no.
Given that our son has seen the original Star Wars and the second one. No problem. IMO those kinds of movies are not scary to him because they are obviously fake - spaceships, etc. When an arm gets cut off, it's by a light saber, not something that is likely to happen in the real world. I ask him if it's scary, and he says "they're just actors."
My wife says that she has heard that Sith is "the darkest" of the Star Wars movies and not for kids.
I said the Pelican Board knows all.
So what's the answer?
