It's done under the guise of what I believe is referred to as a "news magazine" show. This interviewer gave the interviewee a verbal smack down. The point of a news magazine show is to delve deeper into an issue, which a regular 6:00 newscast doesn't have time for. The point of an interview is to ask questions and hopefully discover more subtle points about an issue. Berating your interview subject does not even attempt to accomplish that task.

If it's "entertainment" then maybe it shouldn't be on a cable "news" channel. Fox has plenty of regular entertainment channels.

Pretty strong analysis for someone who never saw one show.
