The car runs fine. It's about a 1,000 mile run through 115 degree heat part of the way. By the time I figured on a plane ticket out there, gas, etc it was only another $250 to ship it and save the mileage/wear/tear.
Besides, I'd like to really go through the car first before I subject it to a stress test like that.
