Depends on what is happening after the corner to. There are slow-in/fast-out corners and there are fast-in/slow-out corners. The arrangment of straights really determines this.

A long straight that leads into a corner with a compromised corner following is fast-in (to extend the straight speed)/slow-out (since the next turn is compromised)

Big Bend at Lime Rock is a perfect example of this and an awesome place to TTO and/or trail brake.
