Congrats on the Duc, I love those bikes. I've got to warn you, the carbs are a pain in the ass to get right. I've played with a lot of carbs, but I could never get my monster to run perfect. If your not up for it, take it to a good wrench. I can recomend a great one in Madison WI, but thats a long haul for you. Anyway its running lean, at least at part throttle. When the pipe and filter were put in, someone probably put in fat mains, but left the idle jets stock. Hard to say if they dicked around with the needles or the floats.

I always liked the stock SS bars, so no advice there. If you ride hard, get a steering damper. Do you have the 4.5" or 5.5" rear rim. Most perfer the 4.5 with a 160 tire, makes the bike handle like magic.
