Racea911: a 1978 911 SC according to Road and Track, weighs 2630. Now this is a Targa, so I'd subtract the Targa weight, and whatever other options you have/don't have if yours is a '78-'79.
In 1980 Road and Track tested a 911 SC and came away with 2700 pounds. Car and Driver had the same car at 2740.
In 1982 - according to Motor Sport, Porsche itself weighed the 911 as 2,558. They Motor Sport story, however, features a 911 SC "Sport" (I don't know what that is), which weighed 2,320. To me it just looks like a severly stripped-down SC.
