And, yes, you can adjust the toe with Goran's version. It works best in concert with an adjustable inner pickup point (like the version Smart Racing Products sells - no affliation,etc). With this combo you can independently adjust camber with the inner point, and toe with the heim joint on the outer (Goran) plate. Works like a charm!
A high quality heim joint (which is not cheap) will take these forces for a very long time with no problems. Braking and aceleration place the most load on this, and that is nowhere near the working load of a decent joint. Just look at all the old IMSA cars setup exactly like this.
