My buddy has an 88 1/2 TR in black. It has 14K on it. He just dropped the engine and did the service himself. He does have a lift. I helped with some of it. The most expensive thing was the $400 manual. He just bought a set of HRE wheels and now it looks like a different car. The stock wheel are horrible. The car has small brakes on it which becomes evident after some spirited driving. He paid around $61K for his about 7 months ago. It is a blast to drive and nothing sounds like the 12 cylinder when you are on it. Would I buy one? NO, I will stick with my 930.
