All of the TopGear episodes are available using BitTorrent, thats how we get ours (including the most recent ones from this season).

5thGear, as I understand it, was a show on BBC3 (the PAX/WB of UK TV) that was in dire need of a makeover. They asked Clarkson to come on but he demanded that he be able to say whatever he liked about whatever car he wanted to... the BBC said yes, TopGear was born (reborn?). You'll often hear Clarkson make inside jokes about 5thGear here and there in the TopGear episodes, its pretty funny.

The US episode we saw last night was not a full episode from the UK, but rather a mix of various segments from lots of shows that were all mixed together. The UK version has a pretty funny "news" portion where they mostly trash on ugly new cars and whatever new traffic law has just been passed in the UK, including the Govt. dolt who is responsible for it. They also do a celebrity (usually an English celeb) interview and timed run around the track which is usually pretty funny.
