Thanks for your help on that call to Philippe - you may have got my second PM; I finally spoke to him. He mentioned that the car had a Pennsylvania salvage title. Carfax shows salvage titles in Saskatchewan (?), Penn and Quebec with write-off and frame damage.

Philippe was reasonably straight forward as long as you asked the right questions (uh, hum)
