My first Porsche was a 1979 924. Guards Red. I thought it was the coolest car I had ever owned. Yes it was a bit slow off the line, but damn that thing could cruise at 100mph all day long. Problem now is that while cheaper to buy than a nice 944, they cost as much to maintain, so most people just go with the 944.
