Yeah, dd. Roland Kunz posted about it a long time ago. I believe Freres book talks about this as well. (ABS needs a neutral offset wheel, and the ABS pulses are bad for the suspension geometry of the t-bar set-up . .. sumthun like that)

Actually, the majority of flextion in a coil spring is twisting, like a t-bar, not flexing, like a leaf. (edit: I imagine Tom was just trying to keep it simple tho' . .. but really, a coil is just a really long torsion bar, wrapped-up for your convienence)
