Good question, I could only guess. Can't imagine that there is a real stampede for these cars w/ ~$3.00 @ gallon premium and an uncertain economy. This is a toy for the blue collar set at this point; not like there are any doctors or lawyers lusting after a 1979 930. Not when every punk selling real estate has a new $100K car.
I would certainly like to hear the story behind the rebuild and why the car needed a new crankshaft and (1) con rod. That must have been loud when it happened.
