They sound like the gangsters cars did.
I think everything was strait cut up to about the late forty's.
I had a 47 Chevy wagon (or early suburban) that had strait cut gears. And I had a 52 International PU that didn't.
I wouldn't think they would be as loud as those old tranny's were, but they will be louder.
