HELP!! Having problems with a 930 motor

I put a 78 euro 930 motor in my 71T. This was supposed to be a good running motor with no issues. When I drive it at constant throttle 2k-3k it misses and cuts out. Full throttle fixes this until 3.5k and then it cuts out and falls on it's face. I can put it in 3rd at 1.5k and it runs fine building boost and at 3.5k and 7lbs of boost it cuts out.

The car has both pumps installed, MSD, and no overboost for the pumps(they run with the ignition on). It has new plugs, wires, cap, and rotor.

I did just have the rear pump on thinking that maybe it was because I wasn't using the front, but that didn't solve it. Thought maybe plugs, but that wasn't it.

When I first got it running it was idleing over 2k so I lowered it to around 1k, but it seems like it's creaping up abit now.
As far as wiring the engine harness all I did was wired power to the red/white wire, same as the 78 SC motor I had before.

I will take the filter off next.

So can anybody point me in the right direction? It's beggining to get frustrating. I'm to the point I wish I had the 3.0 and webbers back in it.
Thanks, Mark
