Hey everyone-

I need some purchase advice... I've decided I'm probably going to buy a 964 as my next car, and I've been shopping around a bit and reading the archives to try and get a little more educated on this car.

Anyways, I'm aware of what folks have cited as concerns: Freudenberg flywheel/clutch issues, oil seepage from the heads, distributor venting, etc. I'm currently looking at a '90 C2 with 27k on it. Owner reports that car does not leak any oil whatsoever, and is still on the original clutch w/o any problems. He had the car checked out recently at his dealer and they said the car needed nothing. Car has a pretty good service history and has apparently been taken very good care of.

My question is this: If I buy one with this low a mileage, am I still at risk of experiencing some expensive problems down the line with leaks and flywheel, or would the major concerns for these cars have been already addressed by now if they were going to rear their ugly head? I'm expecting I might have to pay a little bit of a premium for the condition and mileage, and I don't want to get into a money pit after purchase!
