New, weren't they ('89 Speedster) around $65-$70K or so? I don't remember.
I do remember at one point the market value was around $110-$120 as speculators stepped in and drove it up. I think that's why you see so many low mileage ones.
These days they seem to be in the $50-$60K range.
I love the '89 Speedster. It's my favorite of all of the '80s 911s. My head swivels like that chick in The Exorcist when one passes my on the road.
