917 LH is one of the worst Porsches ever built. In absolute terms, that list may be right: it was very, very dangerous, and very few drivers dared push that car to it's limits. When they did (I think Rolf Stommelen did), the long heck was the fastest thing on earth, relegated all others to the +3 seconds league... And without the 917 LH, the other versions, i.a. Wyer's KH, would never have been constructed (by cutting off the long tail and sticking pieces of sheet aluminum here and there and ... "OK let's see how she goes"...)
You want a fail-safe list? Make a list of the 911 worst cars Porsche ever built, and you can safely say they're all a pile of $hit. Stupid lists.
