What 'threat?'
Seriously the chances of being involved are very small... an additional risk to the very real every day dangers of living in London....
Yes I take the tube everyday... thro Warren Street twice a day and thro Green Park etc etc...do I consider the threat to be one... sadly no.
The very real dangers that present themselves are far more worrying.. the stairs, the crowded escalators, platforms, muggers pick pockets and others come far higher up the list.
Added to which crossing the road in London is more dangerous.
We have lived with this 'threat' for so long now that it has to be taken in our stride. First the troubles in Northern Ireland being exported to London, mind you thay had the manners to warn before they blew (!) rather than getting on with it, now this...it is part of our daily lives.
To curb our lives is to acknowledge the threat. To carry on, to take the tube, the bus, to go out to live as we want to is to 'honour the threat' as fighter pilots say...you turn in and get on with it....and that means people, not soldiers, not the government each living their lives as they want to without letting these people see that they are having and effect.
The issue with these attacks is that they apeear to be carried out by UK citizens, who have every right to be here, and have every reason, thro family links to be in other nations whose view of the world may be different.
Seriously, imagine the trouble a nation ould have if it tracked and checked every citizen from its largest visibly identifiable non native group.....are you going to start following and tracking all the Mexican/ Afro Carribean people in the US. Of course not....
