Speeding is patriotic
As you can imagine police overtime in London has increased dramatically recently because of terrorist activity.
To finance it off-duty cops are being sent out on overtime to book speeders to fill the coffers. Cost of cop for the day on o.t. is £250, return: £1,000+
I'd rather they were used to do something constructive like checking for uninsured drivers.
