This thing isn't done yet. Do all the common maintenance stuff first.

Most peoples biggest problem is a clogged air filter. After that do an oil change and change the plug. This is all stuff that will come in a 15 buck maintenance kit.

Next. Tighten up the bolts that hold the motor to the chasis of the motor. Suprisingly, many people are mowing with a loose motor. This robs power and is a little dangerous.

Finally, for another 15 bucks get a new blade. This will make the mower last another 15 years.

You don't want a new mower. Yours is probably smaller and lighter than what you can buy now.

30 dollars and probably less than 30 minutes of labor to keep this bad johnny on your lawn.
