Agreed - everyone has their favorite model of Porsche here. No problems - no worries.
What I have a difficult time understanding is why some people have the need to state how the 'other' models are
inferior. Then it becomes a 'putting someone else down in order to puff-up one's own self esteem' type of argument, which, IMHO, is never effective.
I've never understood this type of ego boost. How does pointing out the falicies of someone / something else make you / your thing better? If your "thing" is truly better than my "thing," its virtues will reveal themselves without the need to put down my "thing."
Or, if we must debate and argue over who's "thing" is the best, isn't it more effective to point out your thing's good points instead of pointing out my things weak points?
Clear as mud, eh? And I'm just speaking from the stricktly philosophical point of view here....
