A 5,500 lb Suburban gets 18 mpg in a 20-mile commute?
Why do I find that difficult to believe? I have several friends with Suburbans and 11-15 is more like it, with 8-10 for jaunts to pick up 30 lbs. of groceries. That's real-world numbers, verified by my friends keeping track of purchases and mileage.
