VW owns Audi. Porsche does not own either one, nor does VW own Porsche. They have had marketing alliances in the past, and have developed products together. But neither has ever owned the other.
The notion of Porsche buying out Fiat is laughable. Fiat is
huge, and Porsche is tiny, relatively speaking. Fiat may be hard up for money, but they're not so hard up that the (relative) pittance that Porsche could scrape together would be able to buy controlling interest. Hell, GM just paid Fiat two
billion dollars to get out of having to buy them!!!
