Some Porsche owners aren't into the "wave" thing, so just because you are, doesn't obligate everyone else to join in. Life is way too short to get your feathers ruffled, because someone doesn't acknowledge your wave........

Thank you! When I first purchase my 996 I actually couldn't wait to see those hands flying
and
faces when I saw, pulled up next to or passed a fellow driver.... "IT GOES BOTH WAYS” I can clearly remember two of my first waves one in a blue SC just blocks away from my house coming from opposite directions I threw an arm up waving and the guy in his SC, (I know he saw me) passed with nothing more than a glance.... Some time later in my city a off white SC stock-looking was approaching opposites again and once again I got blown off after this I figured maybe they don't believe "It's (996) a real Porsche"....
Well to each his own and sometime yes I'll admit I'm a little too busy to even change gears but if I get a wave I'm sure to return it so long as I can see it.....
These cars are so new that the tech support is limited, I'm going to start with some tech articles in the coming months so that we can start to offer the same service and support to ALL Porsche owners across the board.
