Horrible Story Warren...I guess I'll shut up now about my hell
Regarding the temperatures...we've been having about 100degree heat where I am (Pleasanton CA) and the car was running on the highway a little higher than the second (yellow) arrow on the image below. Now with the oil scoop the temp is where the actual orange needle is...again very happy with the result.
