I guess names like 'redskins' could be construed as racist.
But what about names like Apache or Cherokee? Teams give themselves these names because of the prowess of the warriors. If anything its a name to honor them.
If we start down this path, we will have to rename half of Michigan!
Pontiac, Cadillac, Saginaw.....
