Yeah, the whole eating better idea has really made a big difference. I lost the weight by eating this (or a form of this) pretty much every day.
Breakfast: Total Cereal and skim milk, low sugar or diet juice and Mulit-Vitamin.
Morning Snack: some fruit / vegetable @ 10:00 am.
Lunch: Can of Tuna fish with chopped up vegetables.
Afternoon Snack: More fruit and vegetables.
Diner: Something different each night, mostly chicken, shrimp, fish, portobello mushrooms, etc. Large salad, some rice or noodles.
Also would eat some carrot or celery before bed.
Drink lots of water.
It was easy to loose weight that way. Now that I am trying to build muscle mass, I am eating about 3-4 times that amount per day. It is actually hard to get enough calories of a good kind without excess fat. That is where the nutrition companies help out.
When I was 225 my 36" pants were tight, now I am back into 32" pants (of course I gave away all of my older 32" pants and have to buy new ones) My goal is to get to a fit and muscular @210.
Now that I have a good gym setup in my basement an have started doing heavy squats and dead-lifts every 5 days, I should be putting on some decent mass. We will see.
