What's more fun that root canal? Having it done a second time on the same tooth!
Yes kids, that was my fun today. Had root canal about 2 years ago on a cracked tooth along with a crown. Started having some pain and finally went and got it checked. Yup, an abscess at the root. Went to an endodontist today (didn't even know what that was), and he said he could either drill it out and do it over again, or do surgery going in from the side and cleaning it out that way. I opted for the former...cheaper and he might be able to see if the root is cracked or see why the infection started. And its $1K cheaper.
Problem is I have a temp filling until he finishes next wednesday. And I forgot and ate a chewy bagel and chewed with that tooth. I'm missing some temp filling now
Tastes great, less filling.
