Well, UPS is better than the Post Office for claims. Had a $3,000 sword shipped to Switzerland several months ago, they bent it, i called in a claim, they gave me $3,000 and the bent sword back within 4 weeks.
On the flip side, i shipped a $5,000 sword to Indonesia 6 years ago, US Postal Express. It disappeared, i file a claim, it is still "under investigation" today. Stopped using Postal for packages ever since.
UPS could be better, but the USPS and FedEx is not that great either...
