UPS in my area is pretty good. I know my local driver personally so my stuff makes it.
I've dealt with UPS in other parts of the country (Maryland comes to mind) where they are belligerent and screw things up ON PURPOSE. So I sympathize.
FEDEX ground in here in Kent is staffed by retards. If the drivers aren't going home early and declaring that "they couldn't find my address" they're leaving expensive merchandise ON MY LAWN ($1k worth of Wood Blinds!)
Last time I was there to pick up stuff since I simply don't trust 'em the dummy at the counter said I "had to go to another location" - other side of the parking lot since that claim #was a different shipping service. '
I came back in, went back to the same counter girl and in front of an entire lobby go " you were wrong, it's here, what are you thinking?" -
I get the rolleyes and the "Uh, WHAT - EVER..."
quality of course....
