Sounds like if she is pre 96 than a 20W50 is in order altough i wonder is 15W40 could be used. Many porsche guys cringe at the thought but I would be willing to bet that in a tight engine you could get away with 15W40 and it would provide a little better gas milage.

I'm too big a pussy to try it in my engine, I use 20W50.
