At the end of September its the inaugural CHRA Vintage races at Homestead (come see me race !).
In SoBe, you can have a great (read overpriced) meal at Tantra, Tuscan Steak, NoBu and at the Blue Door. All are very nice with lots of pretty people around.
If you like touristy things, go to the Parrot Jungle, Viscaya, Spanish Monastery, ... For shopping, go to Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise (west Ft. Lauderdale) or Dolphin Mall in Miami/Doral.
