Sorry Dan, here's my logic. the basis for ID is that something, say humans or even just the human eye is just too complex to explain in any other way than to say that it was just "designed and created" by an outside force, that would be god or aliens depending on with whom you speak in the ID community. BTW, I'm surprised at the "super intelligent alien" theory in ID.
We don't know how Stonehenge was created either and since it's engineering complexity is beyond what we would expext from early man, many have posited that it was aliens, or more simply, an outside force.
So I'm saying that ID folks should watch this piece and hopefully understand that what the scientific community didn't understand at one point in time (which is newly defined as a dimension in and of itself) can now be explained.
Sort of the "earth is flat" theory until Columbus came along.
Faith is better placed in patience, research and education than in an unknown entity in which by definition you can't explain. Circular logic at it's best.
