This and what Lube said. Have done this for years, voting for the person and what they say they will do, not a party line.
You have to stand by your word and your word has to be true. This means not fighting ANY ticket you get if you were doing what you got a ticket for. Lying about speeding is still lying, period. If anyone wants to argue about it, fine but you take the good with the bad.
Have to say that Jeff Higgins additions hit home as well.
