A whole bunch of years ago I used this method when driving down into California's central valley. Used that aluminized smog/heat-riser hose and taped the inlet so it was right where the air spills of the lower corner of the windshield. Aimed the other end right at my crotch.

Boy did that feel good in the 110° heat. Thank god those vinyl racing seats from the 80s are a thing of the past.
