Sid Vicious...the image and memory of him doomed punk rock. He was just a wannabe, a parrot of the worst tendencies of NYC folks like Dee Dee Ramone and Johnny Thunders.
Speaking of which, one of Johnny Thunders' les paul juniors went for a pretty penny awhile back...I wonder how legit it was, because the NYC hard rock cafe has one of his and so does the rock and roll hall of fame.
