If you want to attach any of these via epoxy, the below is perfect. It's flexible, which means that it can withstand vibration, whether shutting the door or driving.

EDIT: I've found out the hard way. With this epoxy, really any, directions need to be followed to the letter: surface prep and clamping. Some epoxies are forgiving, this one is not.
