I have been working hard to complete this thing for Labor Day--put the carbs back together, replaced the fuel/air lines, painted everything that needed it--the tank has been cleand out/coated, I then filled the dents, primed it, painted it--yesterday it was cleared(no pics of that yet) , new tires--word of advice, don't try to mount tubes/tires when drinking--the first attempt left me with a combined 12 holes in both new tubes--second attmept sans beer was succesful
oil changed/filter cleaned, as soon as I get the brake pads, I will mount the calipers and bleed them, tank should be ready to go back on this weekend, then all the controls/headlight/etc. can be adjusted. E-bay hooked me up with new grips, and bar-end mirrors. New Die-Hard abttery this week--should be ready to try and start next week. In the meantime some pics:
