Just an FYI. My motor running 993 Supercup cams (on a euro 3.2) had a problem resulting in it destroying more than half the valve stem seals. With the higher lift cams, there was not enough clearance between the guides and the caps (I think!). Anyhow, the fix is to machine 2mm off the guides. This may be peculiar to the guides my mechanic used - I don't know - but I thought it was worth mentioning. It may be something John Dougherty is aware off.
Its going to be one heck of an engine however you look at it. Probably stronger than Ralph's. I think you will love the cams - I do and I haven't even got the engine remapped yet.
