I've decided sell the 914 racer and a "future" project car and refocus on college funding.....
I have two nice 914 chassis available. Both are early cars (72's), are rollers and are solid, rust free chassis.
One is an ex-Texas car, partially built with a semi-tube (DOM) layout. It was caged to meet the SCCA GT 2/3 class rules. A 10 piece GT chassis reinforcement kit is also installed. It's still narrow bodied but it has been setup to be an open chassis racer. The windshield frame is still available and can easily be reinstalled if you do want a closed car configuration. I have a GT glass body set and their molds for the car and a new GT lexan windscreen as well. This car would be a nice vintage, PCA, SCCA or Club car in four or six cylinder configurations. I also have much of the core six cylinder conversion items if needed.
The price for the caged chassis is $2,750.00.
The second car was going to be built into a street car. It's a former California car that was in the process of being restored. It's a rolling chassis in primer and would be a great vintage candidate, full racer or could go back on the street in any desired configuration.
The price for this chassis is $2,500.00.
The total value of the cars would be based on what you're interested in so email or call if you need additional information.
I have some additional items available as well: a 3.0L core engine, some suspension upgrade items, and a group of 6X16 Fuchs wheels that were to be built into 17" wheels for the GT project, a set of factory steel flares, a NOS '73 front chrome bumper, a fire system, a pair of boxed/gusseted rear trailing arms and a set of 5X130 rear hubs.
Both cars and the parts are in the Dallas area and I do have pictures I can email.
