Moneyguy has a point. I'd dispute the 50/50 chance comment tho. It all depends how knowledgable you are going into the purchase, and what you expect out of it. With that said, you probably won't find a *flawless* example without spending more than the car is worth. While my car had some issues the first 4 months or so I opted to spend the $ to get it done at a shop (was still learning alot about the car at that point). As a daily driver, during those first 4 months the car was out of commission for about 3 weeks (spread out). Frustrating? You bet. Now she's mechanically sound and a blast to drive. Havent had any show stoppers in.... lol... I don't want to speak too soon or too loud and tempt fate.
