If you evaluate a Porsche as a car, it proably looks a littel worse than most cars as an expense.
If you look at it as a hobby with a large initial investment and recurring expenses it looks no worse than fishing( boats), golf ( equipment, memeberships etc) or others.
Looking at all my Porsche expenses over the last 4 years of ownership less the residual value of my car - I've had a hell of a lot of fun for the money.
When I'm ready to substitute a tee time for seat time, it will be time to go.
