Absolutely. If I adjust the radio or something and look back up, and a Porsche is there, I'm not the type who's quick enough to be able to wave. I'm not a fan of waving to 996/7s...I know for a fact that some of them are friendly car guys, but others would brush it off. Why try in that case?
If I knew more air-cooler guys were ok with the waterpumpers, I'd wave, flash lights, or acknowledge in another good way. I've gotten some eye contact and nods.
And BTW, the ONLY thing I'm jealous of a Boxster for is the popup spoiler. Whole lot cooler than a big rubber half-assed 944 ducktail. (but that beats the 924's lack of a spoiler altogether
)
